Irritable bowel SIBO
Hydrogen Breath Test
The SIBO test is a hydrogen breath test, a non-invasive way to diagnose common digestive issues like SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth), IBS and lactose intolerance. The breath test evaluates your digestion of particular sugars by measuring the gas you exhale, usually hydrogen and methane. The measured gas comes from metabolism of sugar by your anaerobic gut bacteria through a process named fermentation, Glucose is used for small intestine and lactulose for lower intestine.
This test needs some preparation that the instruction comes with the kit.

Leaky Gut Syndrome Test
The Zonulin Profile ia a blood laboratory test and measure serum zonulin. The purpose is to evaluate intestinal permeability and leaky gut syndrome. Zonulin is a protein that opens intercellular tight junctions in the gut lining. This is the connections between epithelial cells and makes the integrity of the gastrointestinal lining. Zonulin increases intestinal permeability in your gut and is considered a biomarker for barrier permeability.
